You Are The Canvas. Roberto Cavalli SS13

Cavalli was inspired by using the female body as a canvas or frame, and although you have to be just about as thin as a frame to pull off a lot of these dresses, there were some trouser suits and tunics over leather pants that can be worn by just about anyone.

Even when this woman wasn't wearing slashed dresses or lace trousers, her prints were light and sheer - she had a daring quality we've seen quite a lot of in Milan this season. A collection of delicate craft, (there's another SS13 catch phrase) this must be one of my favourite Cavalli collections to date.
