One of the messages from Jacobs for this collection to young girls is that sexiness and nudity are not one in the same. That said, the clothes often didn't leave all that much to the imagination. A predominantly black and white collection, this one oozed 60s mod and all things Jacobs finds fun. (including Micky Muse)
It was somewhat understated for Jacobs' standards, but still a good dose of that slightly off-beat style. Although it was very mod, it certainly wasn't modest... and yet it actually was. That's the genious of Marc Jacobs: he brings opposites together in perfect harmony.
