And so Dolce and Gabbana's Sicilian holiday continues. This time the burst of kitch optimism manifested in stripes and street theatre prints. For those of us still in mourning over D&G, I felt the prints in this collection really captured its signature youthful spirit. Things are really coming together - The Boys have found their voice. And lovely as it sounds, one must wonder if they'll ever learn a new language.
I cannot resist the whole 'she could look great in a potato sack' saying when looking at this collection. It turns out the Dolce & Gabbana woman can. And she can wear a basket too.
Say what you want about the collection - much of it was extremely wearable and all the rest was fun enough to put a smile on my face.
