I’m not going to
do as wide a coverage of this show as I usually would: there was a moment I’d
prefer to focus on. It started at outfit 19 and ended at 34. All of a sudden
there was colour. There was pattern. There was shine. These properties in a
Chanel show were bold, rich, and beautiful.
I hate to use
this analogy, but here is the oasis in the Chanel AW12 desert.
(A very
fashionable desert. One I wouldn’t mind getting stranded in. For a while. I’m
sorry, Karl… it’s not like you’re gonna see this anyway.)
