Dolce &
Gabbana picked up exactly where their
AW12 menswear collection left off: Sicilian Baroque. This show was a lot less
dry than the male counterpart: the lace went black, the lace went white.
Florals and other art-like prints made dresses look like portable paintings,
and then there was the cape which was said to be the most important item.
The craftsmanship
and details in this collection are so exquisite, it just about takes your
breath away. It’s this attention to detail that makes it all so authentic.
Toto, we’re not in 2012 anymore…
