Crystal Clear Chanel AW12

This season the set was surprisingly modest. Yes, giant swords of crystal jutting out of the ground are modest at Chanel.

I’m not going to do as wide a coverage of this show as I usually would: there was a moment I’d prefer to focus on. It started at outfit 19 and ended at 34. All of a sudden there was colour. There was pattern. There was shine. These properties in a Chanel show were bold, rich, and beautiful.

I hate to use this analogy, but here is the oasis in the Chanel AW12 desert.
(A very fashionable desert. One I wouldn’t mind getting stranded in. For a while. I’m sorry, Karl… it’s not like you’re gonna see this anyway.)
