Another Goodbye: Yves Saint Laurent AW12

This fashion month has done everything but hold back when it comes to wonderful clothes, theatrics, and tears of goodbye. After the sob fest that was Jil Sander, I think the fashion pack were a little more prepared as Stefano Pilati cheerfully waved goodbye. Still, it’s sad to see him go.

The last collection was beautiful. The now must-have clinched waist was there, black and leather played their parts, and the odd jump- and pantsuit gave that YSL power feel to the collection.

Sure, this collection is perfectly on trend for the new season, but because of its context you can be sure it will go down in the history of one of the most iconic fashion houses in the world.
