Pearls were big. Literally. They were on dresses and made up the very chunky necklaces and bangles. The SS13 stripe trend is played out literally on shoes and figuratively in the lines of the silhouettes created by the clothes.
For Chanel standards, it was quite futuristic. The austere colours and play with different sizes in a single outfit give a fitutristic feel that lets us know that the Chanel woman is moving ahead of the times. Wherever she's going, she's got all the energy she needs.
